Our Thursday Afternoon X Boat Race Series is built for sailors who are ready to fine-tune their teamwork, tactics, and boat speed in a fun, competitive setting. Held each Thursday afternoon, this 8-week series gives sailors consistent race experience and the chance to grow their confidence on the course.
Boats earn points each week based on finish placement and there will also be awards for participation — because showing up and putting in the effort matters just as much as crossing the line first. Weather permitting, our goal is to complete races on at least six of the eight scheduled days. Racing may also be postponed to Friday as needed.
We’ll celebrate the season and present series awards at our end-of-year Luau Loop event on August 14th — the perfect way to wrap up a summer of great racing, teamwork, and time on the water.

Our Friday Afternoon Optimist Race Series is all about building confidence, boosting racing skills, and having fun on the water. Designed for youth sailors who are excited to compete and improve, this 8-week series runs from 1:00–4:00 PM and gives sailors plenty of chances to practice starts, strategy, and smart sailing in a supportive but spirited racing environment.
Sailors earn points each week based on how they finish and for showing up and participating — because commitment counts! Weather permitting, our goal is to get races in on at least six of the eight Fridays.
We’ll wrap up the series with our end-of-year Luau Loop event on August 14th, where series awards will be presented and we’ll celebrate all the hard work, growth, and great racing from the summer.
